Set to matchup against the Lakers, there is a lot to like about Russell Westbrook . Not only is he facing a team that ranks 15 against the point guards this year, with around 41.5 fantasy points given up to them per game, but, he also has a pretty good pt / minute ratio of 1.51 . It has translated into an average of 56.9 DK points and 53.6 fanduel points per game. This can be heavily contributed to his 34.9% usage rate, which implies he is getting decent production on both sides of the court, especially on offense. Stuffing the stat sheet against a not so great defensive team in the Lakers as they give up 236.69 points per game seems highly probable for Russell Westbrook. Projected Points 67.

 

Dennis Schroder ATL vs NO Fanduel 7800 Draftkings 7500

He is Averaging 35.7 DK points and 34.7 FD points per game, Dennis Schroder seems to be in great form. Part of this is due to his 30.3 usage rate this season. They allow an average of 206.72 fantasy points per game and in terms of defense vs position, the Wizards ranks 21 in that they give up an average 40.2 fantasy pts to the opposing point guards per game this year. Usage% is arguably one of the most important stats for shooting guards. Jrue Holiday maintains a usage rate of 22.1 and this transpires into 0.96 pts / min. On Fanduel, he averages 37.6 points per game, and 38 on Draftkings. Additionally, to enhance his usage, Paul George accumulates an average of 1.04 pts / min. He faces the Lakers tonight that gives up an overall total of 236.69 fantasy points per game this season. Furthermore, against Small Forwards, they rank 1 in the league allowing approximately 46.8 fantasy points per game. A multi-threat DFS option, Paul George has all the skills to put up a great game. Projected Points 67.

 

Kevin Durant GS @ CHI Fanduel 10600 Draftkings 10600

For Kevin Durant, he matches up against the heavily exploitable Bulls defense which, to his benefit, ranks 18 in the league against SFs in terms of allowing 39.3 fantasy points per game. Also, they allow an average of 217.78 points per game to their opponents. This implies a decently high pace game which benefits Kevin Durant’s usage rate and pts/min of 30.4% and 1.41 respectively. He looks to outperform his averages of 48.3 pts/game on Fanduel and 47.6 pts/game on Draftkings. Kevin Durant seems quite viable for both GPP and Cash games tonight. Projected Points 50.

 

Kelly Oubre Jr. WAS @ CHA Fanduel 4600 Draftkings 4500

Kelly Oubre Jr., averaging 22 pts per game on Fanduel and 22.3 on Draftkings, and his team the Wizards take on the Hornets in what looks to be a highly competitive game. Hornets ranks 6 against SF allowing an average of 42.8 fantasy points per game to them. Kelly Oubre Jr. maintains a usage rate of 19.3 and pts/min average of 0.83 so he is set to be given a lot of scoring opportunities tonight. He should be a large contributor to his team’s offense tonight as they are expected to be around Hornets’s average points allowed per game which is 214.67. This small forward has some reasonable upside and he should be worth heavy consideration for GPP and Cash Games. Projected Points 31.

According to our projection system, Taurean Prince seems to be in line for a standout performance tonight against the Pelicans. Taurean Prince’s averages of 26.2 DK PPG and 25.4 FD PPG should be the minimal benchmark up against the Pelicans tonight. It would not hurt to consider adding him to your lineups tonight. Projected Points 38.

 

Power Forward

LaMarcus Aldridge averages 38.8 FPPG on Fanduel and 39.3 on Draftkings. This is heavily due to his 28.8 usage rate. Another metric regarding his production given his minutes is his 1.17 pts / min. Tonight, LaMarcus Aldridge and his team matchup against the Nets who rank 1 in fantasy points allowed against big men. This comes out to an average of 48 fantasy points per game. Additionally, they allow 45.7 points in the paint per game, so offensive rebounds and plenty of close up baskets wouldn’t be surprising for LaMarcus Aldridge tonight. Overall, he makes a for a solid play in his price range. Projected Points 66.

 

Blake Griffingriffbl01 LAC vs DEN Fanduel 8700 Draftkings 9000

Usage wise, Blake Griffin has been pretty good as he possesses a usage rate of 29.8% and a points/min of 1.19. The main statistic for players that occupy the 4 and 5 is opponent points in the paint. For Blake Griffin’s matchup, Nuggets allows 45.7 points in the paint and 9.1 offensive rebounds per game which is 10 and 22 rank in league, respectively. Trying to continue or add to his averages of 39.9 FD ppg and 42.2 DK ppg, Blake Griffin will have a great opportunity to do so tonight against the Nuggets who allows 45.7 fantasy points to power forwards  which ranks 10 most in the NBA.  Look for elite production from this big man tonight. Projected Points 64.

 

Carmelo Anthony OKC vs LAL Fanduel 6400 Draftkings 6200

Carmelo Anthony, going up against the Lakers who rank 7 in the league against PF, allowing an average of 46.5 fantasy points per game. As for Carmelo Anthony, he has a usage rate of 24.3 . Not to mention, his per game averages are 30 DraftKings fantasy points and 29.1 on Fanduel. He makes great use of his minutes, averaging 0.9 points per minute. Lakers gives up 49.2 points in the paint per game and 10 offensive rebounds. In a matchup like this, Carmelo Anthony is worth heavy consideration. Projected Points 52.

 

Anthony Davisdavisan02 NO @ ATL Fanduel 11700 Draftkings 10500

This primary big man has had some great stat lines this year. Averaging 1.43 points per minute, this has translated into 50.5 DK ppg and 50.9 FD ppg. Already at his price tier, Anthony Davis seems like a viable option. He also has a great matchup that struggles mightily against forwards. the Hawks allows around 45 points in the paint per game this year and 10.8 offensive rebounds. He should have plenty of space and opportunities against the team that ranks 16 allowing 43.6 fantasy points per game. You can get some great merit by locking in Anthony Davis tonight. Projected Points 64.

 

Center

DeMarcus Cousinscouside01 NO @ ATL Fanduel 11900 Draftkings 10800

One of the more prominent usage centers in the NBA, DeMarcus Cousins has a usage rate of 32.5% this year. He has put together averages of 52.6 FD fp and 54.9 DK fp per game, along with a pts/min of 1.48. He should accelerate these numbers against the Hawks that rank 1 against centres, giving up n average 44.1 fantasy points per game. Also, they give up a fairly high amount of points in the paint, 45 per game, which is 15 rank highest in the nba. DeMarcus Cousins seems to be an enticing centre option on tonight’s slate. Projected Points 78.

 

Marc Gasol MEM vs NYK Fanduel 8500 Draftkings 7800

Averaging 39.4 Draftkings ppg and 38.4 Fanduel ppg, Marc Gasol is in a decent form coming into tonight’s game. He faces the Knicks that allow plenty of fantasy points to centre, an average of 38.4 to be exact, ranking 15 most in the NBA. One of the reasons the big men are superb against them are because of their inability to defend the paint. They allow an average of 41 points in the paint per game along with 10.2 offensive rebounds per game. With his usage of 27% and pts/min of 1.13, Marc Gasol is in prime position to exploit these abysmal defensive numbers. Projected Points 47.

 

Robin Lopez CHI vs GS Fanduel 4200 Draftkings 4500

In a highly anticipated matchup against the Warriors tonight, Robin Lopez and his 0.84 pts/min looks to have a breakout performance. He has a good chance to do so against them with their poor defense against centres this year. They rank 11 allowing 38.7 fantasy points per game to centres this year. A lot of offensive rebounds have been given up as well, 11.2 per game to be exact. Robin Lopez has a usage rate of 20.4% and 36.4 Draftkings ppg and 35.4 Fanduel ppg this year. In his price tier, he seems to be one of the best cash game options. The matchup gives him plenty of upside. Projected Points 28.

 

Dwight Howard CHA vs WAS Fanduel 8900 Draftkings 7600

The Wizards ranks 18 in the NBA giving up plenty of fantasy points, 37.4  per game to centres this year. Dwight Howard has great potential to stuff the stat sheet tonight as he maintains a usage rate of 24.4 giving him a bunch of room to produce. DFS wise, he gets 1.18 pts /min, 35.4 fdppg and 36.4 dkppg, not only is he a prime candidate to get a bunch of fantasy points from blocks, assists, rebounds, etc.. , Dwight Howard is projected to have a bunch of opportunities to score as the opponents allow an average of 45.1 points in the paint per game. He is a superb play that should not be ignored tonight. Projected Points 38.
