Set to matchup against the Pelicans, there is a lot to like about Dennis Smith Jr. . Not only is he facing a team that ranks 5 against the point guards this year, with around 45.8 fantasy points given up to them per game, but, he also has a pretty good pt / minute ratio of 0.9 . It has translated into an average of 25.6 DK points and 24.4 fanduel points per game. This can be heavily contributed to his 28.8% usage rate, which implies he is getting decent production on both sides of the court, especially on offense. Stuffing the stat sheet against a not so great defensive team in the Pelicans as they give up 228.37 points per game seems highly probable for Dennis Smith Jr.. Projected Points 31.

 

Shooting Guard

Combined with how favorable his matchup is, Khris Middleton is even more enticing. The Thunder ranks 18 giving up 43.1 fantasy points to opposing shooting guards. Additionally, they allow an average of 206.3 points per game which is 22 most in the league. Khris Middleton should be a safe lock for tonight’s slate. Projected Points 33.

 

Small Forward

He faces the Clippers tonight that gives up an overall total of 219.33 fantasy points per game this season. Furthermore, against Small Forwards, they rank 5 in the league allowing approximately 44.4 fantasy points per game. A multi-threat DFS option, Brandon Ingram has all the skills to put up a great game. Projected Points 51.

 

Kevin Durant GS vs CHA Fanduel 11300 Draftkings 10600

For Kevin Durant, he matches up against the heavily exploitable Hornets defense which, to his benefit, ranks 10 in the league against SFs in terms of allowing 42.7 fantasy points per game. Also, they allow an average of 214.03 points per game to their opponents. This implies a decently high pace game which benefits Kevin Durant’s usage rate and pts/min of 30.8% and 1.41 respectively. He looks to outperform his averages of 48.3 pts/game on Fanduel and 48.8 pts/game on Draftkings. Kevin Durant seems quite viable for both GPP and Cash games tonight. Projected Points 60.

 

T.J. Warren PHO @ SAC Fanduel 7500 Draftkings 6700

TJ Warren, averaging 31 pts per game on Fanduel and 30 on Draftkings, and his team the Suns take on the Kings in what looks to be a highly competitive game. Kings ranks 11 against SF allowing an average of 42 fantasy points per game to them. TJ Warren maintains a usage rate of 26.7 and pts/min average of 0.99 so he is set to be given a lot of scoring opportunities tonight. He should be a large contributor to his team’s offense tonight as they are expected to be around Kings’s average points allowed per game which is 216.27. This small forward has some reasonable upside and he should be worth heavy consideration for GPP and Cash Games. Projected Points 34.

According to our projection system, E’Twaun Moore seems to be in line for a standout performance tonight against the Mavericks. This season, he accumulates 0.68 pts /min and possesses a usage rate of 15.8. the Mavericks allows 205.68 points per game and ranks 9, dfs wise, against small forwards, giving up 42.8 fantasy points per game. E’Twaun Moore’s averages of 22.2 DK PPG and 21.7 FD PPG should be the minimal benchmark up against the Mavericks tonight. It would not hurt to consider adding him to your lineups tonight. Power Forward

Tonight, Blake Griffin and his team matchup against the Lakers who rank 5 in fantasy points allowed against big men. This comes out to an average of 47.3 fantasy points per game. Additionally, they allow 49.8 points in the paint per game, so offensive rebounds and plenty of close up baskets wouldn’t be surprising for Blake Griffin tonight. Overall, he makes a for a solid play in his price range. Projected Points 57.

 

Lauri Markkanen CHI vs IND Fanduel 5400 Draftkings 5300

Usage wise, Lauri Markkanen has been pretty good as he possesses a usage rate of 22.3% and a points/min of 0.93. The main statistic for players that occupy the 4 and 5 is opponent points in the paint. For Lauri Markkanen’s matchup, Pacers allows 46.7 points in the paint and 10.6 offensive rebounds per game which is 4 and 4 rank in league, respectively. Trying to continue or add to his averages of 26.9 FD ppg and 28.3 DK ppg, Lauri Markkanen will have a great opportunity to do so tonight against the Pacers who allows 48 fantasy points to power forwards  which ranks 2 most in the NBA.  Look for elite production from this big man tonight. Projected Points 42.

 

Kyle Kuzma LAL vs LAC Fanduel 7400 Draftkings 7500

Kyle Kuzma, going up against the Clippers who rank 14 in the league against PF, allowing an average of 44.8 fantasy points per game. As for Kyle Kuzma, he has a usage rate of 22.3 . Not to mention, his per game averages are 31 DraftKings fantasy points and 29.1 on Fanduel. He makes great use of his minutes, averaging 0.93 points per minute. Clippers gives up 41 points in the paint per game and 10.2 offensive rebounds. In a matchup like this, Kyle Kuzma is worth heavy consideration. Projected Points 37.

 

Bobby Portis CHI vs IND Fanduel 4500 Draftkings 4500

This primary big man has had some great stat lines this year. Averaging 1.15 points per minute, this has translated into 24.6 DK ppg and 23.7 FD ppg. Already at his price tier, Bobby Portis seems like a viable option. He also has a great matchup that struggles mightily against forwards. the Pacers allows around 46.7 points in the paint per game this year and 10.6 offensive rebounds. He should have plenty of space and opportunities against the team that ranks 2 allowing 48 fantasy points per game. You can get some great merit by locking in Bobby Portis tonight. Projected Points 26.

 

Center

One of the more prominent usage centers in the NBA, Myles Turner has a usage rate of 20.8% this year. He has put together averages of 32 FD fp and 31 DK fp per game, along with a pts/min of 1.08. He should accelerate these numbers against the Bulls that rank 7 against centres, giving up n average 41 fantasy points per game. Also, they give up a fairly high amount of points in the paint, 44.9 per game, which is 11 rank highest in the nba. Myles Turner seems to be an enticing centre option on tonight’s slate. Projected Points 45.

 

Robin Lopez CHI vs IND Fanduel 5000 Draftkings 4800

Averaging 24 Draftkings ppg and 24 Fanduel ppg, Robin Lopez is in a decent form coming into tonight’s game. He faces the Pacers that allow plenty of fantasy points to centre, an average of 45.1 to be exact, ranking 1 most in the NBA. One of the reasons the big men are superb against them are because of their inability to defend the paint. They allow an average of 46.7 points in the paint per game along with 10.6 offensive rebounds per game. With his usage of 20.4% and pts/min of 0.84, Robin Lopez is in prime position to exploit these abysmal defensive numbers. Projected Points 40.

In a highly anticipated matchup against the Nets tonight, Hassan Whiteside and his 1.4 pts/min looks to have a breakout performance. He has a good chance to do so against them with their poor defense against centres this year. They rank 9 allowing 40.8 fantasy points per game to centres this year. A lot of offensive rebounds have been given up as well, 9.8 per game to be exact. Hassan Whiteside has a usage rate of 24% and 35.7 Draftkings ppg and 34.4 Fanduel ppg this year. In his price tier, he seems to be one of the best cash game options. The matchup gives him plenty of upside. Projected Points 35.

 

Dwight Howard CHA @ GS Fanduel 8000 Draftkings 7400

The Warriors ranks 13 in the NBA giving up plenty of fantasy points, 39.3  per game to centres this year. Dwight Howard has great potential to stuff the stat sheet tonight as he maintains a usage rate of 25.3 giving him a bunch of room to produce. DFS wise, he gets 1.18 pts /min, 34.4 fdppg and 35.7 dkppg, not only is he a prime candidate to get a bunch of fantasy points from blocks, assists, rebounds, etc.. , Dwight Howard is projected to have a bunch of opportunities to score as the opponents allow an average of 44.9 points in the paint per game. He is a superb play that should not be ignored tonight. Projected Points 36.
