Daily Fantasy Football NFL 2017 Preseason Denver Broncos vs Chicago Bears 8/10/17 top Picks for Fanduel & DraftKings
The Broncos will head to Soldier Field to take on the Chicago Bears in week one of the NFL preseason. Denver defeated the Bears by a score of 22-0 in last years preseason opener. These two teams are heading in opposite directions as Chicago looks to rebuild their organization while the Broncos are in win now mode despite having a battle at the quarterback position between 2 inexperienced arms. Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch will be facing off throughout the preseason to see who will come out as the Broncos starting QB. Siemian had the title last season and carried it to over 3400 passing yards with only 18 TDs and 10 INTs. Lynch saw minimal action throwing 2 TDs and 1 pick in his three games. Siemian was reportedly looking off in training camp and many anticipate that Lynch may have theslight edge between the two. However, depending how their respective preseasons go, there is still a lot to be determined. In the backfield with the two gunslingers will be CJ Anderson and veteran Jamaal Charles, two very capable backs that do their work in different ways. Devontae Booker is the third man in the run game but he is injured and will miss the entire preseason. The backfield will be protected by a solid O-line, one that recently improved with the signing of Ron Leary from the Cowboys and draft pick Garrett Boles in the first round. The Broncos offense was its weak point last season and their defence will continue to be the cornerstone of the team. Led by Aqib Talib and Von Miller, the Denver defensive team will be just as good as ever. On the other side of the field the Bears are in full rebuild mode and it could be a painful time to be a Bears fan. Mike Glennon will takeover as starters quarterback this season. His best season came in 2013 where ge threw 2608 yards with 19 TDs and 9 INTs in 13 games. Since then he hasn’t played all that much and threw a whopping 11 passes last year. The Bears also lost their star wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey in the off season which will leave a huge void to be filled. Kevin White and Cameron Meredith will compete for targets throughout the season. Meredith had a strong season last year with 888 yards and could be poised for a breakout campaign now that he has a chance to get targets on a consistent basis. Mitchell Trubisky was drafted second overall by the Bears in the recent draft which left a lot of people scratching their heads. He is currently slotted as the third QB and was reportedly having troubke taking snaps in camp. Mark Sanchez is the backup for the Bears and should see a good chunk of playing time in week one. Chicago fans be warned, some games may bring more pain than excitement.
