Daily Fantasy Football NFL 2016 Week 6 Experts Kicker Corner top Picks for Fanduel

Welcome to DWL’s Kicker Corner, here we will discuss everyones favorite position on their FanDuel NFL rosters, the kicker !

Jokes aside, many people overlook the importance of their kickers and blindly pick anyone who fits in with the leftover salary they have. Kickers can be a huge part of your weekend being a success as many times kicker ownership percentages are spread out and having the right guy can make or break your week. Lets dive in to Week 6 !

  1. Nick Novak ($4,500) vs IND : Nick Novak has made 11 field goals this season and is one of two kickers in the league that have the most attempted field goals. Nick has missed 3 field goals this season but 2 of those 3 have been from beyond 50 yards indicating that the Houston Texans won’t be shying away from Novak. He gets a prime matchup as his team is a 3 point favorite at home vs a horrendous IND defense in a game that features the second highest Over/Under of the entire slate ! Nick has put up double digits in 3 of 5 weeks and deserves a long look this week as he also comes at the bare minimum price of $4,500 on FanDuel.
  2. Stephen Gostkowski ($5,000) vs CIN : The New England Patriots check in as 8.5 point home favorites in a game that features an Over/Under of 47 points. Gostkowski has missed 3 FG this season, going 7 for 10, and while this may be a slight concern to many the fact of the matter is that Gostkowski is one of the most reliable kickers in the NFL.  Tom Brady is back under helm and we don’t need to stress about the Patriots’ ability to move the ball down the field effectively anymore. All in all, Gostkowski’s FG opportunities will increase significantly due to Brady’s leadership and that puts him firmly in play as a low owned high upside kicker this week.
  3. Steven Hauschka  ($4,800) vs ATL : Hauschka has been perfect so far this season hitting on 8 of 8 field goals. Hauschka and the Seahawks are projected to score 27 points effectively making them the 3rd highest home favorite on the slate. Hauschka should continue to find success this week but the only issue that may pop up Sunday morning is iffy weather so be sure to check the weather reports for Seattle !
  4. Ryan Succop  ($4,500) vs CLE : It seems that vegas will project just about anyone to steam roll the Cleveland Browns week in and week out. Ryan Succop and the Tennessee Titans check in as heavy home favorites ( 7.5 points ) with a projected team total of 26. Succop’s minimum pricing is heavily enticing and should prove to be a valuable return on our investment.
