Kemba Walker CHA
( FANDUEL $7,900 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $8,100 ) ( Opponent – BKN ) Proj. Pts 38
Kemba Walker led Charlotte with 34 points on 7-of-10 from 3-point range against the New York Knicks. The Hornets averaging 10.5 triples (fourth in the league) on 36.0 percent shooting (eighth in the league). Kemba’s offense is a major part of that success, and he even rounded out last game line with five boards, two assists and two steals. Great spot for him tonight against The Nets.
Kyle Lowry TOR
( FANDUEL $7,900 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $7,200 ) ( Opponent – IND ) Proj. Pts 39
The Raptors will be playing the first game of a back-to-back set tonight, and Lowry logged 40 minutes in his previous outing, so owners will still want to confirm his status prior to Thursday’s tip. The same can be said for DeMar DeRozan.
Jose Juan Barea DAL
( FANDUEL $6,800 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $6,500 ) ( Opponent – MEM ) Proj. Pts 34
In the biggest game of the season for the Mavs, the shortest guy on the court came up the biggest. J.J. Barrea had 27 points and eight assists, and shot 10 of 16 from the field. They needed every point they got from Barrea. He was 10-of-16 from the field and made all three free throws for a dazzling 77.9 true shooting percentage. Barea won Western Conference Player of the Week last week and has led the Mavs to a five-game winning streak.
Reggie Jackson DET
( FANDUEL $6,000 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $6,100 ) ( Opponent – WAS ) Proj. Pts 30
His last game wasn’t his best, but it was a nice improvement from arguably his worst game as a Piston on Friday. This win was the biggest win of the season for the Pistons with a 2.5-game cushion to remain in the postseason.
Toney Douglas NO
( FANDUEL $5,500 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $5,400 ) ( Opponent – LAL ) Proj. Pts 36
The Pelicans are not likely going to get Norris Cole (back) and coach Alvin Gentry said nothing has changed with Cole. Douglas has been filling it up over his last five, averaging 14.4 points, 3.2 boards, 4.4 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.4 treys. He should be owned. Plus he is the value PG on the team right now with Tim Frazier’s price up to $6,600.
Wesley Matthews DAL
( FANDUEL $5,200 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $5,000 ) ( Opponent – MEM ) Proj. Pts 27
Matthews touches per contest have increased to 56.5 over his past 10 outings, up from his season average of 46.7, and he’s been a top-50 player during that 10-game span with averages of 16.3 points, 1.3 steals and an elite 3.8 triples per game.
Jeremy Lin CHA
( FANDUEL $4,500 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $4,300 ) ( Opponent – BKN ) Proj. Pts 34
Big chance Jeremy Lin will earn another start. Nicolas Batum is going to be a game-time call and if he can’t play Both Walker and Lin make sense as potential DFS targets with a favorable matchup against the Nets. The Hornets have won all three meetings against the Nets this season. In their most recent meeting on March 22, the Hornets beat the Nets 105-100. Nicolas Batum led the Hornets with 23 points on 4-of-9 from 3-point range. Keep an eye on Nicolas Batum if he can’t play then lock Jeremy Lin. The great news this game starts at 7:00 pm so we will have an early update before lock time.
Courtney Lee CHA
( FANDUEL $4,300 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $4,000 ) ( Opponent – BKN ) Proj. Pts 26
He is averaging 10.2 points, 2.7 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.2 triples, 0.7 blocks and 1.0 turnover per contest in his last six games. He’s not the most exciting guy to own, but his ability to do a little bit of everything without hurting you in any one category makes him a worthwhile.
Langston Galloway NY
( FANDUEL $4,000 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $3,700 ) ( Opponent – PHI ) Proj. Pts 24
He played the majority of his minutes at the point due to Jose Calderon (quad) being out and he was on fire in the last three games. The Knicks have been keeping his minutes down up until Jose Calderon’s injury with fewer than 24 minutes in each of his last seven.
Danny Green SA
( FANDUEL $3,700 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $3,500 ) ( Opponent – DEN ) Proj. Pts 22
He’s been in a terrible slump for the past five games, but finally snapped out of it tonight against arguably the best team in the NBA. LaVine is a very confident player even when his shots aren’t falling, but he should be able to string together some awesome lines now.
Paul George IND
( FANDUEL $8,800 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $8,400 ) ( Opponent – TOR ) Proj. Pts 42
George should be terrific tonight. The Indiana Pacers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 123-109 on Wednesday night. Indiana took control early on as they led 70-61 at the half. George led the Pacers with 29 points on 10-of-17 shooting. This is a great matchup for him tonight. In the past 6 weeks The Toronto Raptors have given a lot of fantasy points to the Small Forward position. On April 2nd and 3rd both Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard went over 55 fantasy points.
Luke Babbitt NO
( FANDUEL $5,400 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $5,100 ) ( Opponent – LAL) Proj. Pts 29
Babbitt is taking advantage of an expanded role for the decimated Pelicans, averaging 18.8 points, 2.3 triples, 6.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists in his past four games.
OTHER PLAYERS TO CONSIDER
Justin Anderson DAL
( FANDUEL $3,900 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $3,600 ) ( Opponent – MEM) Proj. Pts 22
Jordan Hamilton NO
( FANDUEL $4,600 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $4,500 ) ( Opponent – LAL) Proj. Pts 23
Jae Crowder BOS
( FANDUEL $6,300 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $6,000 ) ( Opponent – MIL) Proj. Pts 29
Evan Fournier ORL
( FANDUEL $5,300 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $4,200 ) ( Opponent – MIA ) Proj. Pts 26
OTHER PLAYERS WE LIKE
Thomas Robinson BKN
( FANDUEL $6,600 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $5,500 ) ( Opponent – CHA ) Proj. Pts 39
He now has double-doubles in five straight. In that span, Robinson averaged 15.2 points, 12.2 boards, 2.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.2 blocks on 55.0 percent from the field. He is getting the minutes with both Lopez and Thaddeus Young have been shut down for the season. Great matchup for him tonight facing the The Charlotte Hornets.
David West SA
( FANDUEL $3,600 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $3,700 ) ( Opponent – DEN ) Proj. Pts 29
I expect him to start tonight. LaMarcus Aldridge hurt his finger on Thursday night and coach Gregg Popovich said after the game. Aldridge is almost certainly going to rest on Friday. We have seen over the last several years that the Spurs always out perform the other team when Coach Pop rests his starters. With the very real chance that they get rested David West will get the big minuets in the best matchup tonight against the Nuggets.
Derrick Williams NY
( FANDUEL $4,500 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $4,600 ) ( Opponent – PHI ) Proj. Pts 24
Porzingis didn’t practice on Tuesday and the Knicks are going to be ultra-cautious with him, considering they only have three meaningless games left on the schedule. Williams has a good chance to start the rest of the way, making him a worthy streaming option or DFS play.
OTHER PLAYERS TO CONSIDER
Julius Randle LAL
( FANDUEL $6,500 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $6,000 ) ( Opponent – NO ) Proj. Pts 32
Carl Landry PHI
( FANDUEL $5,400 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $5,000 ) ( Opponent – NY ) Proj. Pts 29
Hassan Whiteside MIA
( FANDUEL $8,600 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $8,800 ) ( Opponent – ORL ) Proj. Pts 39
Nikola Vucevic ORL
( FANDUEL $8,000 ) ( DRAFTKINGS $7,100 ) ( Opponent – MIA ) Proj. Pts 40
Cole Aldrich (LAC): $3,700 vs. UTA (Proj. Pts – 29.43)
GOOD LUCK TONIGHT
